Irma Rendón
At 25, I gained 12 kilos in less than a year, and no one could tell me why.
I was already deep in the corporate world. Busy, stressed, eating what I thought was "fine." My doctors had no clear answers. My nutritionist at the time gave me a meal plan that didn't stick. And in the back of my mind was a fear I'd carried for years: my mother, my grandmothers, my aunts, all of them had struggled with their weight their whole lives. I genuinely believed it might just be my destiny.
But I couldn't accept that. So I did what felt most natural: I started studying. Physiology textbooks, nutrition research, every theory I could find. I wanted to understand what my body was actually doing, and why.
A year later, I had lost all the weight. Not through restriction or willpower, but because I finally understood how to eat in a way that worked for my hormones and my body. That knowledge never left me.
I went on to have two healthy pregnancies, at 32 and 35. I gained exactly 9 kilos each time and lost it within four weeks. Through it all, I maintained the same weight, energy, and vitality I had built in my twenties.
For 20 years I stayed in the corporate world, watching colleagues go through exactly what I had. Struggling with weight, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, and a healthcare system that rarely gave them real answers. I kept thinking: I know what's missing here.
So I went back to school. I earned my certification as a Nutritional Therapist, then completed a postgraduate degree in Advanced Nutrition at London South Bank University (LSBU). Not because I needed a career change, but because I had something worth teaching.
Today I work with women who are where I once was: confused, frustrated, and told that what they're experiencing is "normal." My approach is built on three things:
Evidence-based functional nutrition — no trends, no guesswork
Real food, real life, built to last, not just to start
Your body, your hormones, your schedule, your life
I specialise in sustainable weight loss, hormonal balance, and perimenopause nutrition — working with clients in Stockholm, across Sweden, and online worldwide. I don't give you a plan to follow. I teach you how to eat, so you understand your body well enough to never need to start over again.
Because this knowledge changed my life. And it can change yours.
What I specialise in
Sustainable weight loss is at the core of everything I do, alongside hormonal and metabolic health.

★★★★★
"I arrived feeling ashamed of my out-of-control eating, my low mood, and the constant stress that had pushed me to burnout. Irma opened my eyes: 'Your hormones are speaking louder than your willpower,' she said. For the first time I understood it wasn't weakness, it was biochemistry. I lost 7 kg and became the energetic mum I wanted to be. My son said 'Mum, you're fun again,' and that meant more than any number on the scale."
